Support

Help Desk Services

IT support that answers on the first ring.

Most small and mid-sized companies do not need a full-time IT department. They need someone who answers, who knows their setup, and who fixes the problem instead of learning the environment from scratch every time.

That is what this is: a support contract with agreed response times, a documented picture of your systems, and a team that has seen your network before the day it breaks.

What's included

Scope, stated upfront.

  • Single point of contact

Phone and email support during business hours, logged so nothing is forgotten between calls.

  • Remote and on-site support

Most issues resolved remotely within minutes; a technician on site when the problem is physical.

  • Defined response times

Written targets by severity, agreed before the contract starts — not decided while you wait.

  • Proactive monitoring

Disk space, backups, antivirus and updates checked routinely so small faults never become outages.

  • Asset and licence records

An up-to-date inventory of machines, warranties and licences, so renewals never ambush you.

  • Onboarding and offboarding

New-starter setups and leaver lockdowns handled to a checklist, protecting your data on the way out.

Who it's for

Typical deployments.

Companies with no in-house IT

A complete support function for a predictable monthly figure.

Companies with one IT person

Cover for leave, escalation for the hard problems, and a second pair of hands during projects.

Multi-branch businesses

One support desk across several locations, with consistent standards at each.

How we work

Four steps, no surprises.

Step 01

Consult & survey

We look at the site or the setup, listen to the problem behind the request, and write down the constraints before quoting.

Step 02

Design & quote

A specification you can actually read: what goes where, which brands, what it costs, and what it excludes.

Step 03

Deploy & train

Clean installation, tested on handover, with your team shown how to use it.

Step 04

Support & maintain

Scheduled maintenance and a support line that reaches people who know your installation.

Questions

Asked before every quote.

How fast do you respond?

Response targets are set by severity and written into the contract — a server down is not treated like a printer queue. You will know the numbers before you sign, and the monthly report shows whether we met them.

Is support remote or on site?

Both. Remote resolution is faster for most issues, so we start there; anything physical — hardware, cabling, a device that will not boot — gets a technician on site.

What is not included?

Hardware purchases, third-party licences and major project work are quoted separately. The contract covers support, not capital spend, and we state the line clearly rather than leaving it vague.

Can you work alongside our existing IT person?

Yes, and it is a common arrangement — we handle escalation, out-of-hours cover and holiday periods while they keep day-to-day ownership.
